High Electricity Bills: Conventional street lighting systems use constant illumination lighting which leads to high energy consumption accounting for up to 60% of a municipal government’s total electricity expenditure. Furthermore, forecasts show that the energy spending for street lights is likely to increase over the next few years as the demand and price for electricity increase

High COâ‚‚ Emissions: It takes almost 0.84 Kg of Coal to produce 1kWh/1Unit of energy.
